If you are ordering a bird, the shipping is a flat rate of $140.00.  This includes the shipping crate and the airfare.  Birds will be shipped via Delta Cargo Pets.  You will have to pick up the bird at  your local airport.  Shipping can be combined for multiple orders (limit two).  For orders of more than two birds, buyer will have to pay $140.00 for every two birds.  ex: four birds will cost $280.00 in Shipping.  Some larger birds require an additional crate fee of $40.00 for the second bird.  Call 1-877-744-2473 with any questions. 

The Package shipping companies will not ship a big heavy cage, so if you are ordering a cage, you must select "cage freight".  This will cost you $75.00.  The cage will be shipped via a freight shipper. 

Delivery Times

All orders will be processed within 2 business days.  After that it is up to the type of method you have chosen. 

Delta cargo pets will book the flight usually within 2 weeks.  you will then recieve a phone call with the detailed flight information so that you can pick up your new bird at the airport upon arrival.  On the day of the flight, the bird will arrive on the same day that it was shipped provided there is not any delay with the airlines.  If there is a long delay, delta has a pet hub in GA and UT where they can take the birds to get watered and fed if there is any long delays.  Also there employees are trained to be able to accomodate the needs of baby birds. 

Local delivery will be scheduled for delivery on a day that fits both your schedule as well as our delivery schedule.  Usually within two weeks but we can schedule it farther out if you request it. 

Local delivery and set up is scheduled the same as local delivery. 

Cage Freight is a ground carrier that specializes in heavy crates.  ex: Yellow Trucking.  The delivery schedule is dependant upon the shippers availability, but usually can be deliverd within 2 weeks. 

The above time estimates are estimates starting from the moment the order is processed.  The estimates are generous so usually we can deliver the items even faster than stated. 

Some items are time sensative:

Birds must be picked up within one hour of the arrival of the plane at your local airport or we cannot warranty the health of the bird. 

Birds are sometimes ordered before they are even hatched so a delivery time on the bird can be hard to determine.  In this case we will contact you with an estimate of delivery time after the order is processed and we will continue to update you as the information becomes available. 

Delivery times are for in stock items and do not include back ordered or special order items.  The delivery times on back ordered and special order items will be determined by the manufacturer and/or supplier and we will contact you with the estimated delivery time after the order is processed.
