This Friendly Blue & Gold Macaw has been previously used as a breeder and is currently bonded to another of our males whith whom she has produced and is proven.  She is just over 10 years old.  Usually we do not split proven pairs but it is a rare when a breeder is actually friendly.  "Hera" is a very friendly bird and is definately pet quality.  She has a good vocabulary of words.  She will step up onto your hand for you and let you pet her anywhere including under her wings.  She is very affectionate and would make a great pet as well as a good breeder.  Please call 1-877-744-2473 if you are also interested in her mate.
